| JURIED EXHIBIT |
Humor: an appreciation of the incongruous.... Whimsical: a fanciful or fantastic device, object or creation.
-Webster’s 3rd International Dictionary
A juried exhibit celebrating the humorous and whimsical in art. Open to all media, this show celebrates the fantastical and amusing, incongruous and ironical. Juror Kathleen Moles selected 70 pieces from 53 artists from Clallam, Jefferson, Kitsap and Island counties. Moles said: Many things make us smile; in general I looked for a sense of lightness, staying away from darker humor. The absurd, the curious and often animals can make us smile.
