S. Erin Batiste is an alumni of Soul Mountain Poetry Retreat, Voices of Our Nations Arts (VONA), Renaissance House, and the Key West Literary Seminar. She has also lead workshops and been a part of Kahini and the Centrum Port Townsend Writers’ Conference. Her writing has appeared in Experimental Candy, Falling Star, Poetic Diversity, and the 24th Street Irregular Press POEMS-FOR-ALL series. She is working on her first novel and lives in Los Angeles, California.
Julia Hands is a recent graduate from Western Washington University’s MFA program. While completing her MFA, Julia served as the Assistant Managing Editor of Bellingham Review. For the past four years, she has also worked as the Assistant Program Manager of the Centrum Port Townsend Writers’ Conference. Her short story “But She Still Loves Him” appeared in 5×5 and her plays have been performed on Western’s Brit Tour (2015) as well as at the Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival in Washington (2014).
