Saturday June 17 at 7pm Northwind gallery area hosted Rebecca Wild to tell the story of her own calligraphic and art journey from a full-time scribe in Washington DC to an artist and teacher in the Pacific NW. This event is brought to you by Port Townsend School of the Arts and Northwind Arts Center.
Throughout this enlightening visual and oral presentation, Rebecca will weave stories that illustrate the importance of penmanship and the lost art of letter writing. She will also relate how a relationship with letters and calligraphy has changed the lives of some of her students.
