Show Information

Northwind Arts Center exhibits work by Northwest regional artists at the Center, which is open noon - 5 pm Thursday - Monday (summer hours).  Additionally, the Center is open during Port Townsend Gallery Walks each first Saturday of the month, and is open for special events. Related talks, demonstrations, and artists workshops are often scheduled in conjunction with shows.

Juried Shows are held three times per year. A prospectus will be published for each show and made available at the gallery and on the web. The prospectus specifies all requirements for artists wishing to submit works, includes the show calendar (dates for submitting work, pickup of submissions, show dates, pickup of show work), and identifies the Northwind contacts for each show.

Invitational Shows — artists will be contacted directly and requested to submit works for these shows.

Workshops — attendance is always limited, so reserve early. Make checks payable to Northwind Arts Alliance and send to Northwind Arts Center (or stop by to see the current exhibit). Please use our registration form, or specify the workshop, and include your name, phone, email and home address. For more information call Northwind Arts Center at 379-1086.

Cancellation Policy: If the class is cancelled, a full refund of tuition and fees will be issued.

Refund Policy: If a student notifies Jefferson Arts Alliance of withdrawal from the workshop three business days prior to the class, he/she will receive a full refund less a 20% fee. No refund will be made less than 72 hours before the workshop.

Art Route & Artists' Studio Tour

Read more about Art Port Townsend events here.

As of June 2004, the annual Artist's Studio Tour and Art Route brochure is combined, and promoted in a single brochure. Artists who want to participate should call Northwind Arts Center for more information; generally the call for studio tour artists begins the spring before each year's event.  A photo of art work and written copy about the artists in 25 words or less must be submitted.
