At this time, Northwind Arts Alliance does not sponsor or organize workshops, but provides workshop space which may be rented for a nominal fee for visual, literary, and performance art workshops. This space is also available for arts-related presentations and meetings.
Showcase Gallery & Workshop Space
The workshop space is in the main room of the Artist Showcase. This is the newer portion of the Northwind Arts Center gallery shown in the floor plan at right (Click for a larger image). To enter the Artist Showcase Gallery and workshop space, enter the front door of the Arts Center, turn to your right and continue through the open doorway.
This space has good lighting, a large wash-up sink, and tables and chairs available. There is an adjacent restroom and kitchenette with microwave. The Center is conveniently visible from Sims Way with plenty of parking.
Rental rate for 2010 is $50.00/day. Contact Jeanette Best or Jay Haskins.
Note that the workshop space is also exhibit space for 2-D and 3-D art works.
