The Artist Showcase Gallery is a second, adjacent gallery added to the center after a few years in the Jefferson St. location. While the Artist Showcase is operated differently than the original exhibit gallery, it is staffed by the same volunteer docents and open during the Northwind Art Center regular hours.

The Artist Showcase is dedicated to showcasing the work of local artists. It provides well lit wall space suitable for large and small works. Local artists who apply are placed on a waiting list, and will be notified when space is available for their work. Access is by approval, and requires a rental fee, but no commission is charged on sales, and Northwind Arts Center will pay state sales tax.
Art workshop space is available by reservation for a nominal fee: the space is in the Artist Showcase gallery. The fee is $50/day as of 1/2011. Folding tables and stacking chairs are available, and there is a large cleanup sink, a bathroom, and a small kitchen with an under counter refrigerator and a microwave.
Set up and cleanup is required, and is the responsibility of the renter. Note that the workshop space is also exhibit space for 2-D and 3-D art, so care must be taken.
