Call to Artists for Juried Shows: Spirit of Place

Juried show Spirit of Place will be exhibited at Northwind Arts Center March 2 – April 2. Art submissions are due at the Gallery February 26 & 27 for juror selection.

A little spot of earth, a sense of being, or a little corner of your life, can all evoke images of place. The spirit of place refers to the unique, often times mysterious, invisible aspects of a place that is celebrated in memories, stories, art, or histories.

Teresa Verraes is the juror for this show. She is the former owner of Artisans on Taylor Gallery and brings extensive experience in fine art and jewelry. Teresa currently serves as Executive Director for the Jefferson County Chamber of Commerce.  The show curator is librarian and artist, Jean Tarascio.

Please review the show Prospectus for entry information.
