the olive trees

a pox on the isreailies
firing from their tanks
and palestinians firing from
the trees that stand in ranks
that will bring the dozers
to level houses, walls and groves
then come suicide bombers
with dynamite among their loaves
a pox on both their houses
an extra helping if you please
both of them just make me sick
i’m siding with the olive trees
