I have been painting over 19 years in watercolors and acrylics. My paintings reflect confidence and expression through the use of vibrant colors and captured details. My works encompass a wide range of subjects–floral, landscapes, and animals. I have been complimented by my peers as having a style that resembles Georgia O’Keefe.
Through the years, I have exhibited as a “Featured Artist” or in group shows with private and artist-owned galleries, wineries/tasting rooms, financial institutions, legal and medical offices, and a variety of corporations and proprietorships throughout CA and WA. I have entered national, state, and local competitions winning recognition awards, and have attended workshops to continue to grow in my expertise.

Beginning Acrylics: I have been a Grumbacher instructor for Michael’s Arts and Crafts the last 2-1/2 years. The course I taught was beginning acrylics. I am taking new students with no painting experience starting January/February 2014. The format will be similar to Grumbachers where students will be able to finish their painting in two hours; learn basic techniques such as perspective and composition; mixing colors; how to hold a brush for different brushstrokes; and how to take care of brushes and art supplies.
