Northwind Book Arts Group

The Northwind Book Arts group is dedicated to exploring and cultivating contemporary aesthetic interpretations of the book as an art object, while preserving the traditional practices involved in the creations of books. Our focus is to provide a forum for fine printers, typographers, book binders and book artists in and around Port Townsend and the Kitsap and Olympic Peninsulas.

Programs including lectures, presentations and panel discussions will be held quarterly along with occasional workshops.

The Northwind Book Arts Group is co-sponsored by the Port Townsend Library and Northwind Arts Center.

See below for our events and meetings

As always, anyone with an interest in printing, binding, and other book arts is welcome.
